2019 Saved by the Ball Kickball Tournament
November 2 @ 10:00 am – 6:00 pm
Calling all recess aficionados!
Healthy Hinesville and the City of Hinesville are partnering together to bring you the 2019 Saved by the Ball Kickball Tournament – benefiting the Mayor’s Motorcade.
Join us on Saturday, November 2 at James Brown Park as we spend the day reliving everyone’s favorite part of elementary school – kickball at recess!
Tournament play will begin at 10 a.m. and all games will be single elimination. Bronze Medal game will be played at 3 p.m. (unless otherwise determined by tournament play and staff). Gold Medal game will be played at 4 p.m.
At 5 p.m. and following tournament play, the staff from the City of Hinesville will take on staff from Liberty County to see who has the better kickball team.
Food vendors will be onsite to purchase snacks, drinks and meals. Interested in becoming a food vendor? Please contact the Tournament Director at [email protected]
The cost to play is $50 per team, with all team registration fees benefiting fundraising efforts for the 2019 Mayor’s Motorcade. Teams must be comprised of 8 – 15 members. Details on team composition, rules, registration form and tournament details can be found at cityofhinesville.org and we will be posting details every few days.
This event is free and open to the public. Weather delays may occur and will be decided the morning of the tournament. Teams will be notified if tournament play is delayed and we will post weather updates here and to the Healthy Hinesville and City of Hinesville Facebook pages.
