We are also thrilled to announce two new activities for Scarecrow Stroll 2019: a selfie contest and costume contest!
For the Scarecrow Stroll Selfie Contest: Event attendees wishing to participate must take their picture at the event and post their selfie to Instagram and tag the HDDA (@hinesvilledowntown) in the photograph. Selfies must be posted by 5 p.m. on Monday, October 28 to be eligible to win. Details will be published as the event draws nearer.
For the Scarecrow Stroll Costume Contest: There will be first – third place awards presented in 4 categories: Best Individual, Best Original, Best Group and Best Pet. Those attendees who would like to participate in the costume contest should plan to be at the event no later than 5:30 p.m. for preliminary judging. Anonymous judges will be selecting finalists from the crowd beginning at this time.
