City of Flemington holds Council Meetings at Flemington City Hall on the second Tuesday of each month at 4:30 pm.
October is Gullah Geechee Cultural Heritage Awareness Month. The African American Geechee Heritage Trail Presentation is one of the events scheduled for the month. It will be held at the Liberty County Historical Society on 101 Commerce Street in downtown Hinesville.
The Liberty County Board of Education holds Board Meetings on the 2nd Tuesday of every month from 5:30pm – 7pm. Work Sessions are held on the 4th Tuesday of every month from 9am – 11am. The dates are subject to change. These meetings/work sessions are free and open to the public.
City of Walthourville holds Council Meetings at the Walthourville Police Department on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 6pm.
