Now that summer has ended and the hustle and bustle of school has returned we’re sure you’re starting to feel the stress of the daily grind again. Not to mention the busy holidays and all they entail will be upon us before you know it. We all know how crazy it can get and chances are the lady of the house will be bearing the brunt of the stress. Take advantage of this blissfully uneventful time and plan a ladies’ weekend with your girl squad. Soak up a little “me time” before you’re forced to chat with your in-laws and spend hours cooking, cleaning and shopping for gifts! Have a ladies’ weekend!
Settle in for a weekend of fun with the ladies at the LaQuinta hotel. A “staycation” is the way to go! No endless hours in the car waiting to pass a gas station you don’t mind stopping at to pee! You and your gal pals will love the spacious suites they offer their guests and it’s just a short trek up the road!
Start your weekend off with breakfast at Izola’s Country Café in Hinesville. Every girl needs a hearty breakfast before a glorious day of shopping! Breakfast is made fresh every morning and you’ll have your pick of everything from pancakes to biscuits and gravy!
Start your shopping off at Charming Chics, just a short drive from Izola’s. With a seemingly endless supply of jewelry and cute outfits this boutique is sure to have something to fit your style! As you head back into Hinesville, you’ll want to make a stop at the Hinesville Pharmacy. Trus us, you’ll find more here than antacids and medical supplies. With plenty of Mudpie and Tervis tumblers in stock, find a nifty trinket or two for yourself! Finish off your day of shopping at Molly Maxine on Main Street. You and the girls can get facials and have your makeup done as you try on outfits. Did we mention they stock locally made jewelry as well? Find something unique!
Once yall are beautified walk down to Zum Rosenhof for an authentic German supper. Pair it with one of their delicious German beers on tap! Head on back to the LaQuinta and partake in a little karaoke at the Blue Fountain Lounge to end your day with an evening full of laughter.
Start off day 2 with coffee and muffins at Island Café. Afterwards, head over to the new Oglethorpe Square for shopping at TJ Maxx, Hobby Lobby and Ulta! Discover all those outfits and knick knacks you never knew you were missing! Once you’ve shopped yourselves out (if that’s possible!) take a lunch break at Longhorn Steakhouse.
Have a little fun during the second half of the day, and try a stroke by stroke painting class at the Hinesville Area Arts Council. An entire community of local artists contribute to this gallery and teach classes, so your options to paint a new piece of artwork are endless!
End your weekend on a relaxing note- what girl’s weekend is complete without a spa day! Visit the Hinesville Day Spa for messages, and scrubs. You’ll leave refreshed, relaxed and ready to head back to reality come Monday.
