We held the August Progress Through People Luncheon on Thursday, August 17th. Thank you so much to Webster University for sponsoring the luncheon featuring Dr. Perry Franklin, Interim School Superintendent of the Liberty County Board of Education. We had an enjoyable time celebrating the groundbreaking for the new Midway City Hall Complex which will be located at the corner of Hwy 84 and Charlie Butler Road in Midway.
We had a fun time celebrating a grand opening and ribbon cutting for T-Mobile at their new location in Oglethorpe Square Shopping Center at 849 W. Oglethorpe Hwy in Hinesville. This is their first location in Hinesville. T-Mobile is a nation-wide wireless provider, specializing in voice, messaging and data on a 4G LTE Network.
Chamber members had a great time networking at the July Business After Hours hosted by Navy Federal Credit Union on Thursday, July 20th at their location, 730 S. Main Street in Hinesville.
We had a great time celebrating a grand opening and ribbon cutting for WorkSource Coastal at their new location across from the United Way at 140 E. MLK Jr. Dr in downtown Hinesville. The WorkSource Coastal Hinesville Job Center specializes in youth, young adult and adult employment and training services; also offering Priority of Service to veterans and eligible spouses.
