November Progress Through People Luncheon featuring the United Way of the Coastal Empire-Liberty County
We held the November Progress Through People Luncheon on Thursday, November 16th. Thank you so much to Webster University for sponsoring the luncheon featuring volunteers of and collaborators with the United Way of the Coastal Empire-Liberty County. In addition, thank you to Chick-fil-A Hinesville for catering and to the Liberty County Performing Arts Center for having us!
The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce 2017-2018 Leadership Liberty class had their City Government session on November 1st. The class was hosted by the City of Hinesville where they met with Mayor Allen Brown and had a Q&A session with Interim City Manager Kenneth Howard. The class had lunch with City of Hinesville and Liberty County’s government relations professional, Jimmy McDonald. In addition, they to visited the Hinesville Police Department, the Hinesville Fire Department and toured the historic Liberty County Jail. Thank you to the City of Hinesville for planning and hosting this class each year.
The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce 2017-2018 Young Adult Liberty Leaders class was hosted by the City of Hinesville for their City Government session. The class toured city hall, the Hinesville Police Department and the Hinesville Fire Department. Class participants met with Mayor Allen Brown, the Hinesville Police Chief, the Hinesville Fire Chief and Interim City Manager, Keith Howard. Thank you to the City of Hinesville for hosting the Young Adult Liberty Leaders.
Chamber members had a wonderful time networking at the October Business After Hours hosted by the Coastal Courier on Thursday, October 19th at their Hinesville office located at 125 S. Main Street in downtown Hinesville.
The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce held its annual Membership Appreciation Low Country Boil & Oyster Roast for its members on October 13th, at the Chamber Offices located at 208 E. Court St in downtown Hinesville (the historic Bacon Fraser House). The event was presented by Ameris Bank and the event bar sponsor was Hargray.

We held the October Progress Through People Luncheon on Thursday, October 12th. Thank you so much to the Liberty County Convention & Visitors Bureau for sponsoring the luncheon featuring guest speaker, Julie Ford Musselman, Executive Director of the GA CVB. Musselman shared facts and informative statistics about the role of CVBs, in addition to the role of the Liberty CVB, our official destination marketing organization, in our local communities. In addition, thank you to the Farmhouse Restaurant & Catering for catering and to the Liberty County Performing Arts Center for having us!
