The Tumblebus held a ribbon cutting on Friday, Feb. 27th at 908 S. Main St. Suite 104 in Hinesville. The Tumblebus is an interactive gymnasium on wheels. Children ages 18 months to 9 years of age can enjoy tumbling and climbing equipment including monkey bars, trampoline, bars, beam, vault, zip line, rings, and a slide . The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce held the February Progress through People luncheon sponsored by Georgia Power and Savannah Technical College to honor the STAR students of Liberty County on Feb. 19th at Club Stewart.
The January Business After Hours sponsored by Ameris Bank was held on January 29, 2015. Chamber members enjoyed refreshments and networking at Ameris Bank.
Zaxby’s parking lot was packed Monday, Jan. 26th in anticipation of their Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting. The first 100 patrons received a year’s worth of free food. Chamber members and staff joined the crowd to welcome Zaxby’s to the Chamber of Commerce.
The Liberty County Development Authority presented their Year In Review at the January Progress Through People Luncheon on Thursday, Jan 22 at the Liberty County College and Career Academy. CEO Ron Tolley stated that industrial growth in Liberty County surpassed over 3,00 jobs in 2014. The lunch was catered by the culinary students of the Liberty County College and Career Academy.
