The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce held a Progress Through People Luncheon at noon on Thursday, September 18th, at the Liberty County Complex in Midway. The event was hosted by The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce, and sponsored by Keep Liberty Beautiful.
Sarah Visser, President for the Keep America Beautiful State Leaders Council was the key speaker. The topic was Pretty Places, Vibrant Spaces: The Importance of Community Appearance, and Vissar shared ideas and information on using greenspaces and urban forests to enhance community appearance, strengthen environmental health, boost economic development and community quality of life.
Into the Sun held a grand re-opening for the new location at Cattail Crossing in Midway. Congratulations to owner Cayla Faulk on the new store!
