Bottoms Up held a ribbon cutting for the grand opening of their new business space with support from the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce on April 8 at 217 C Butler Street in Midway.
Renae Stittgen welcomed staff, Chamber staff, and members of the community to the event. The business offered snacks and refreshments as well.
Stittgen thanked those in attendance and added, “I’m proud of myself. I never expected that I would be here.”
Bottoms Up offers used baby clothes (up to 2T), accessories and toys. They also buy all of these items to further stock their store.
Stittgen explains that her business began from a hobby of home-making baby clothes. She adds that she has been in business since July of 2012 and has been constantly expanding her work space. The business moved to their new location last November and re-modeling began and went on until April.
“I really enjoy that I’m helping others by doing this,” says Stittgen. “We hope to keep expanding.”
