2017 Holiday Events in Liberty County

Looking for more holiday fun in our community during these last 19 days before Christmas? Whether you go out and see Santa or make some ornaments for your tree, there are still tons of festivities here in Liberty County!

Stop in at Doodles tonight for a holiday party that supports the troops! Bring along individually packaged toiletries, snacks and other goodies to be packaged up for soldiers overseas. Doodles will have cookies, cake, pie and other sweet treats for those who donate. What a wonderful way to give back this holiday season, and have a little fun yourself too!

Do a little Christmas crafting with the kiddos at the Hinesville Area Arts Council. Friday, December 8th, Azure Creativity Art Studios will be hosting a North Pole Christmas Art Event to make Christmas ornaments and decorations. Play a couple Christmas games and sing some carols while you’re there for some added fun!

Do some time traveling this holiday & celebrate like they did in Colonial days! December 9th join Midway Museum for their Christmas Tea, then head out to Fort Morris Historic Site for A Colonial Christmas! Keep the Colonial experience going at Midway Museum’s Christmas Day Camp on December 20th. There will also be Christmas crafts, cookie baking and other snacks.

Have breakfast with Santa! Get your picture made with him between bites of pancake at Midway United Methodist Church on December 9th! If your breakfast doesn’t fill you up, decorate some cookies to take back with you for an afternoon snack! Club Stewart will have brunch with Santa on December 17th and make omelets for brunch and chat with Santa about what’s on your list!

Honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice during the holiday season by attending the 11th annual Wreaths for Warriors Walk ceremony on Fort Stewart, December 16th at noon. Each tree will have a wreath laid on it. If you’re a motorcycle enthusiast, join others and ride your bike to the event with an MP escort. Volunteers will also be decorating the trees for Christmas on December 15th in preparation of the Wreaths for Warriors Walk ceremony.

Join Connection Church for a brunch the morning of Christmas Eve and candlelight ceremony that evening. We love the idea of a candlelight Christmas service, take your family and start a new tradition.
