Start your summer off by getting a little exercise! The Liberty County Board of Commissioners will host its first 5k Fun Run/Walk on June 2 at James Brown Park in Hinesville. Bring the family along and stretch those legs!

Free for Ages 15-under
Head out to Holbrook Pond on Fort Stewart and take your little guys fishing! Kids ages 15 and under are invited to fish for free until 1pm. There will be a 5 Catfish limit, with a cleaning station provided! Bait and poles will be available to use while supplies lasts! Whether it’s their first time fishing or they’re an experienced angler, the kiddos will have a blast!

The morning starts off early at Briar Bay Park and end after you’ve made your way to Dorchester Academy. Whether you run, jog or walk the 9.5 mile route, you’ll come away with an experience to remember. Finish your morning off with breakfast at the Dorchester Academy Boys’ Dormitory.
