BrunchThe Yellow Bee is a delicious brunch spot in Hinesville. They have chicken & waffles, shrimp & grits and did we mention they are the only mimosa café in Liberty County?? Dessert-This Puerto Rican bakery serves up desserts like you’ve never seen! Dulce Delicia not only offers cakes, quesitos and chocolate covered fruits, but they take smoothies and frappes to the next level. We recommend the frappe Oreo cheesecake. 2. Local Art at The Gallery

If you have an artsy mom then Martin Mercantile and our Hinesville Area Arts Council Gallery is a must-see. The Mercantile is a handmade marketplace that features the best in local arts and crafts that are made in Liberty County or not far beyond.

3. Shop ‘till You Drop!

If you haven’t visited Cay Creek Wetlands Interpretive Center yet then you’re missin’ out! This scenic boardwalk stretches 7/10ths of a mile across several different ecosystems. You’re sure to see many different plants, animals & insects from the 15-ft tower that gives you a birds-eye-view of the wetlands.

Fort Morris Historic Site is one of the most peaceful places in Liberty County. Tucked away into the marsh grass of the coast it is the perfect spot to appreciate the gorgeous view of St. Catherines Sound. The sunrise over the sound is a must-see! Lookin’ to bring Fido? 7. Fun for the Paddler

Last but certainly not least are our athletic moms. We have so many places for you and your mom to kayak, boat, canoe and fish! Some of our popular public water access points include the Riceboro dock, Jones Creek Park and Sunbury Crab Company. Our favorite spots to fish include Bryant Commons and Eve Park. Bryant Commons has a 15-acre pond that is a catch-and-release fishin’ spot that locals love. Eve Park is more of a hidden gem on the coast of Liberty County. You can fish off the dock and enjoy the beautiful scenic view of Colonel’s Island.
