Sho’ Nuff Smokin Good Barbecue
BBQ. It’s its own food group in the South and the cause for a lot of disagreements between one state and the next as to who in fact has THE best BBQ. Around here you will find plenty of options for getting this Southern staple, but Sho’ Nuff Smokin Good Barbecue is definitely not one to miss. Located near Fort Stewart, you will find some mouthwatering options like fall off the bone ribs that are a must! Homemade sauces and sides complete the menu, and we highly recommend the potato salad – it’s one of a kind and the perfect pairing for those ribs! You’ll also find some of the best sweet tea around at this family owned restaurant, which makes it even more of a favorite in our book!

Tazza Kabob Grillhouse
One of the newer restaurants to open within Hinesville city limits, Tazza Kabob Grillhouse has quickly become a favorite! Located near the main gate of Fort Stewart with a specialty in Persian cuisine, their menu is packed full of flavorful finds like the kabob fries or the chicken shawarma wrap. With large portions and fresh ingredients, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu!

Sunbury Crab Company
A favorite for locals and visitors alike, seafood doesn’t get any fresher than it does at the Sunbury Crab Company. Take in an incredible view from any table of this open-air restaurant while enjoying blue crabs pulled from traps daily for the freshest taste and experience. Grouper and wild Georgia shrimp are also easy menu choices that will take you to seafood paradise. After a filling meal, be sure to take a stroll down the docks to see if you can spot dolphins playing in the water or watch the sun paint the sky in watercolors as it sinks below the horizon. Whether by car or boat, this is one dining option you will not want to forget!

Izola’s Country Cooking
Nothing says the South like some good, down home cooking which is exactly what you will find when you visit Izola’s Country Cooking. Served buffet style, you will have plenty of incredible options including some of the best fried chicken around! You can also start any day off on the right foot with breakfast from Izola’s – we highly recommend breakfast in cup if you’re on the go!

Melody’s Coastal Café
If you’re looking for a mashup of fresh seafood, homestyle cooking and sports bar cuisine – Melody’s Coastal Café will hit the spot. Located on the eastern end of our coastal haven, fresh seafood has an incredible influence on the mouthwatering menu including shrimp nachos, scored flounder, crab soup and a local favorite – low country boil! The burgers are not to be passed by either with unique toppings like fried green tomatoes, pimento cheese and Cantonese BBQ sauce. Oh, and let’s not forget the Po’ Boy sandwiches either with authentic Leidenheimer French rolls and delicious filling options like blackened chicken, fried oysters or grilled shrimp. With a menu this full, you’ll have something new to try every time you visit!

Zum Rosenhof
An incredible benefit of being home to Fort Stewart and the 3rd Infantry Division is that Liberty County has become a melting pot of people and cultures. It also means that incredible melting pot presents an opportunity to get a glimpse of the world through our stomachs. One such opportunity is a destination in itself and that is Zum Rosenhof German Restaurant. Authentic German dishes are made from scratch every day to include schnitzel with several choices of gravy, cucumber salad, frikadellen (German meat loaf), bratwurst served with sauerkraut and so much more! If you take a peek behind the bar you will spot glass boots perfect for drinking imported German beer while enjoying music and memorabilia that bring the restaurant to life. Be sure to save room for desert – the dessert fridge is always filled with homemade goodies like Black Forest chocolate cake!
