Celebrate National Hamburger Day Liberty County Style with These 4 Phenomenal Burger Plates

Did you know there’s a day set aside every year all about hamburgers?! May 28th is National Hamburger Day, and we are ready to celebrate!! Liberty County is filled with incredible restaurants serving up some delectable dishes, but we wanted to highlight a few of our local favorites who make delicious hamburgers!!

First up is Melody’s Coastal Café! This Midway restaurant has a mouthwatering menu that always makes it hard for us to choose what we’re going to eat but you can never go wrong with one of their unique burgers!! Try the Country Boy which is topped with Southern staples like house-made pimento cheese, a fried green tomato and caramelized onions. If you’re wanting a little spice in your life, check out the Tijuana with toppings like green chile, Monterey jack cheese & jalapeno bacon. Yum!!

Head to the most eastern part of our coastal paradise and you will find this next restaurant right on the water! The Sunbury Crab Company offers impeccable views to match their out-of-this-world menu. This open-air restaurant does feature some of the freshest seafood around, but the grill puts out some incredible burgers! Get the best of both worlds with an appetizer of fried calamari and the bacon cheeseburger for your main course.

Doodles Billiards is located in the heart of Hinesville and a definite must on this National Burger Day celebration list!! In addition to a great atmosphere, incredible staff and awesome drink prices – they have a long menu of fantastic fares. Keep it classic with the Bacon & Swiss burger or try something different like the Rodeo burger which has onion rings and is smothered in BBQ sauce! Both perfect for celebrating a winning game of pool!!

Fang’s Island is also located in Hinesville and a place where food meets fun! Between the large arcade and a menu perfect for every appetite, Fang’s Island is an awesome place to celebrate National Burger Day with the whole family. Grab a classic burger or go for the sliders to fuel you up before embracing your inner kid!
