Celebrating Women-Owned Businesses in Liberty County

There are so many businesses here in Liberty County that are women-owned and operated, from fashion forward shops to stores that promote spiritual well-being. We sat down and spoke with four of our women-owned businesses in Liberty County to focus on how their businesses affect our coastal community.

Tila Walker with SignGypsies Hinesville

We all have one thing in common: we have things worth celebrating. That’s why SignGypsies offers a custom yard greeting rental service. “Our focus is on our community and we didn’t want celebrations to go unnoticed because of Covid,” says Ms. Walker. Unlike other special occasion businesses, SignGypsies allows you to rent letters, numbers, logos and more at an affordable price.

“Our customers continue to do business with us because we offer great prices, we are consistent and we make celebrations fun!” Ms. Walker believes that SignGypsies can help the community celebrate in a way that makes a statement and loves being part of their special day! P.S. they will come put up and take down these celebratory signs! Did someone say #StressFreeCelebrations?

Kandra Hudson with Cakamile, LLC

Cakamile is a natural holistic boutique that offers alternative care for the mind, body, spirit and soul. Owner Kandra Hudson’s vision for Cakamile is “[a] focus on mental & physical wellness and spiritual growth. [Her] mission is to help people be aware, not only of their wellness, but of alternative and natural products that provide a better lifestyle.”

Not only does Kandra make a lot of her own products, she sends customers home with informative cards on the products they purchase! Many residents and visitors of Liberty County say that Cakamile is very educated on their products, their prices are reasonable and they always radiate Zen energy.

Melissa Carter Ray agent with State Farm

Melissa Carter Ray is one our local State Farm Insurance Agents. Her focus is auto, home, renter’s, life and business/commercial insurance throughout Liberty County. Melissa believes that establishing personal relationships with her clients & really helping them understand the risk they face every day is essential as an agent. “Our customers enjoy doing business with us because of our honesty, integrity, professionalism and respect,” says Melissa.

Alicia Prince with Resilience Couture, Inc.

Resilience Couture, Inc. is a woman’s clothing boutique that carries sizes small to 3XL in dresses, tops and shoes. Owner Alicia Prince says that her boutique caters to classy women who want to look different and stay trendy.

Ms. Prince states “I want to provide clothing and style for women to bring out their confidence.
