City of Hinesville Asks All Residents to Temporarily
Reduce Water Usage Due to Sewer Force Main Leak
HINESVILLE, Ga. (Sept. 7, 2016) – On the evening of Sept. 6, 2016, the City of Hinesville detected a leak in a 24-inch sewer force main that carries wastewater from the Hinesville Master Pump Station to Ft. Stewart. The City is asking all residents to reduce water usage until further notice in order to reduce demand on the sewer pump stations so that repairs can be made.
