The world is a tremendous place with many different paths for all to take. Whether you have traveled to the ends of the Earth, or to the beaches of St. Catherines Island, the beauty that you will find is ever-changing. One thing for certain is that the sun will rise every morning and set in the evening and there are not many people who could deny the magic of a golden light peeking out from a distance.
The Georgia coastline has even proved to be irresistible to sea turtles as over 1700 nests have been spotted so far, this year. In comparison, there were only 1,742 counted for the entire year in 2018. We were lucky enough to have Jaynie Gaskin get some incredible shots of these beautiful creatures in their habitat.
A hot Georgia summer is a haven for boating, camping, fishing, swimming, or riding your bike down the coast. While you are in the neighborhood, you will not regret stopping by Sunbury Crab Company for some fresh wild Georgia Shrimp and a panoramic view of the Sunbury harbor.
Liberty County is filled with little gems that are anxious to be unearthed. It seems the more places we discover, the more my appetite grows to find just a little bit more. Exploration can be addicting, but I cannot think of a healthier addiction than getting out and enjoying our coastal community.
