Chamber Events
Blues, Brews & BBQ – September 18
Join us on Saturday, September 18 for the 17th Annual Blues, Brews and BBQ! It will take place in downtown Hinesville from 1-9 pm and will feature live music from The Boondockers, The Chuck Courtenay Band and more. There will also be a BBQ competition that starts at 4 pm, with public sales starting at 1 pm. Bring your family out to have a good time!
Food Truck Festival – October 30
Our 2nd Annual Food Truck Festival will take place on Saturday, October 30, and it will definitely be a crowd-pleaser. It’s only been around a few short years, and thousands of residents and visitors have joined in on the fun. This event is free and will include live entertainment! We can’t wait to see y’all there!

Community Events
Community Suicide Prevention Memorial Walk – September 11
The Community Suicide Prevention Memorial Walk is hosted by the Khyla N. Dennis Memorial Foundation, Inc. This year it will take place on September 11 from 9-10 am. Recycle It! Fairs w/Keep Liberty Beautiful – September 18
Keep Liberty Beautiful will be hosting a Recycle It! Fair on Saturday, September 18. They will take place at Walthourville City Hall and the Liberty County Community Complex in Midway. Liberty County Sherriff’s Dept Golf Tournament – September 25
The Liberty County Sheriff’s Department is holding their 1st golf tournament to benefit the Georgia Sheriff’s Youth Homes, Tri-County Protective Domestic Violence Shelter and Project Life Saver. A sign-up sheet will be posted at Cherokee Rose Golf Course. To learn more about entry fees, sponsorships and start times, y’all can contact Tracey Hugo at (912) 463-7425.
Hinesville Rotary Club Fishing Tournament – October 2
The 8th Annual Hinesville Rotary Club Redfish and Trout Fishing Tournament will be on Saturday, October 2. There is a $200 team registration fee. At the event, there will be a Sunset Party from 4-9pm with live music. For more information send an email to fishrotary@gmail.com.
“Save Our Next Generation Day” – October 9
Saturday, October 9 is proclaimed as “Save Our Next Generation Day.” Help is needed to spread awareness and answer the call to stop bullying! T-shirts are being sold so that members of the community can show their support. All proceeds from the sale will go to help the fight against bullying.
