Family Friendly Events in March

 

Now that the weather is warming up, it’s time to get out and explore Liberty!  Take a look at these four upcoming events around our community for you and your family to enjoy next month. Whether you’re looking for fresh produce or an exciting evening with the kiddos there is always something to do and somewhere to go in Liberty County. 1. Farmers Market: March 2^nd, 4PM-7PM at Bradwell Park in Hinesville, GA

Help kick off the 2017 Farmers Market season! Swing by the famers in downtown Hinesville and pick up your groceries for dinner starting March 2^nd.  The farmers market will be open every Thursday evening from March to November.  Vendors will have everything from fruits and veggies to flowers, skin care and more.  Make an evening out of it and eat dinner at Zum Rosenhoff.

 

 

 

2. Small World Festival: March 4^th, 10AM-4PM at Bryant Commons in Hinesville, GA

Take part in a jam-packed day with the Hinesville Downtown Development Authority and travel around the world at Bryant Commons.  Learn about the many cultures that melt together to create our community.  This festival will feature an international food court, live entertainment and a car show.  Bring the family along for children’s activities and even participate in the Colors of the World 5K!

3. Lewis Clark Circus: March 8^th at 6:30 pm and March 9^th at 5:00PM & 7:00PM at the Riceboro Stage in Riceboro, GA

The Lewis & Clark Circus will be in Riceboro, Georgia!  Go one night or both and see exotic animals performing tricks, acrobats, dare devils and more! Take the family out for a fun filled evening and sit back and enjoy the show!   Come early for a chance to ride a pony or camel!

 

 

4. Grand Opening of Oglethorpe Square: March 10^th in Hinesville, GA

It’s time to do a little shopping!  Enjoy live music, food, children’s activities and more!  The Oglethorpe Square shopping center will officially open on March 10^th, however the individual stores will be opening throughout the year.  Dicks Sporting Goods, Hobby Lobby, TJ Maxx and PetSmart will all open in the month of March.  Pack the family up for a little retail therapy and have dinner at the new Longhorn Steakhouse!
