Getting to Know Dani Baab
This week on our “Getting to Know the Chamber Staff” series, we sat down with our Program Coordinator Dani Baab. This series of blogs will focus on our staff so you can get a better understanding of who you’re chatting with on the phone, meeting at a luncheon or networking with at Business After Hours.
Dani is a graduate of the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management. After graduating from UCF she moved to Tacoma, Washington where she spent about 2 years working for an event rental company doing rental consults and event planning.
In August of 2020, she made the cross country move from Washington to Georgia for her husband to be stationed at Fort Stewart.
Dani has only been with the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce since May of 2021, but she has jumped right in to a variety of tasks. One moment she is managing our Pinterest account, the next she is helping with the coordination of our Chamber events or pulling Google analytics for our website. You may have even read one of Dani’s blogs on The Right Blend Blog – Liberty County.
Dani is really looking forward to being able to use and grow her event planning experience with all of our year-round events. The Chamber puts on a variety of events for the community and its members. So be sure to check out our upcoming community events to see what all the fun is about!
“Days at the Chamber are never dull; there is always so much going on day to day. Since I am still so new to my position and the Liberty County area, I am constantly learning new things and meeting new people. It has been really fun so far, and I can’t wait to see how much I can learn while I am here,” Dani said.
Outside of work Dani, her husband, Matt and son Tommy enjoy exploring Liberty County’s parks, nature trails and historical sites. They love to spend lots of time together outside and learning all about the history the area has to offer. When they aren’t out exploring, her and her husband like to spend time working on projects around their home or watching their favorite investigative crime shows.
We asked Dani what her favorite thing about living in Liberty County is, and she expressed how much she enjoys the tight knit community feel. “Everyone here is so nice and welcoming. Liberty County has that true Southern hospitality vibe, it is really great!”
We are happy to have Dani as a new member of our team. She is always willing to help with anything that is asked of her and is a dedicated member of our team.
