Hallo-weekend in Liberty County
In the South, it’s easy to understand why fall is a favorite season for so many. Fall brings cooler temperatures, colorful leaves, football and lots of pumpkins! For others, especially families, fall is all about Halloween: haunted houses, trick-or -treating, candy and fun costumes. We’ve put together a list of a few things going on in Liberty County for the Hallo-weekend!
Live Oak Church Harvest Festival
Live Oak Church in Hinesville is having their harvest festival on Friday, October 29th from 6-9pm. There will be inflatables, a rock-climbing wall, dunking booth, carnival games and much more. If you’re looking for something to do on Friday night, then go check it out!
Holbrook Haunted Trail: Slashers
This spooky haunted trail will be at Holbrook Pond and is $5 per person. Attendees are encouraged to wear costumes. Add some scares to your weekend and stop by on October 22nd & 23rd and October 29th & 30th from 8-11pm. All proceeds are given to the Fort Stewart BOSS Program.
Drive-Thru Trunk or Treat
Rustic Designs is having a drive-thru trunk or treat on Friday, October 29th from 7-9pm, featuring surprise special guests! Contact Shelby by phone at (864)640-6482 if you have any questions or need more information!
Liberty County ASYMCA Trunk-or-Treat
The Liberty County ASYMCA’s Trunk-or-Treat event will be on Saturday, October 30th from 3-5pm, and they are having a Best Decorated Trunk contest. Anyone who is interested in setting up their own trunk can contact the Liberty County Armed Services YMCA to participate! This event is free to attend.
City of Hinesville and Fort Stewart Halloween
Trick-or-treating for the city of Hinesville and Fort Stewart will be on Saturday, October 30th from 6-8pm. Be sure to have your kids all dressed up and ready!
City of Midway and HAAF Halloween
Trick-or-Treating for the city of Midway and Hunter Army Airfield will be on Sunday, October 31st from 5-7pm. With the early start, you still have time to get home and get the kids ready for school Monday morning!
Walthourville Meat Market Fall Festival
The Walthourville Meat Market is celebrating fall by giving back to its community! Join them for a fall festival on Saturday, October 30th from 12-5pm. There will be free food, face painting, crafts,t bounce houses and much more. They will also be handing out candy to the children! Make sure to go by and see them.
Hinesville Cars and Coffee 7th Annual Trunk or Treat
Hinesville Cars and Coffee is holding their 7th annual Halloween Trunk or Treat event! This will be on Saturday, October 30th from 6-9pm in the Dunkin Donuts parking lot. This event is free with no registration fee for participants. There will be Top 30 trophies and specialty trophies and lots of other cool things for the whole family!
Liberty County has plenty of events for everyone to celebrate spooky season the right way. We are also having our 2nd annual Food Truck Festival on Saturday, October 30th from 11am until 4pm, which means y’all can start your Hallo-weekend with some yummy food!
