Holiday Guide to Liberty County

Liberty County is filled with tons of holiday events that offer something for everyone. It will definitely be easy to find something for everyone on your “nice” list with our holiday guide or just spend time with your family as you #exploreliberty!

 

1. Midway Museum Annual Christmas Tea

This would be a great gift to spend quality time with family or friends. On Saturday, December 10th, the Midway Museum will be decorated for a colonial Christmas. You can enjoy tea and refreshments, a tour of the museum with costumed guides to narrate the area’s rich history. This is truly a wonderful experience and is sure to put you in the Christmas spirit.

2. Pictures w/Santa

One of Liberty County’s newest businesses, It’s All About Me Selfie Studio, will have old Saint Nick himself on site Saturday, December 10^th from 12-4pm in downtown Hinesville. Be sure to give them a call for more information at 833.422.6886 or check out their website here. While you’re downtown be sure to pop by some of our favorite boutiques! And when the shopping gets to be too much, you can find our guide to the best beer in town!

   Grinchmas Movie Night

Be sure to join the Walthourville Police Department for Grinchmas Movie Night on Friday, December 16^th from 6-9pm. They will have popcorn and hot chocolate for everyone! 4. Liberty County Manna House Toy Giveaway

If you’re in need this holiday season be sure to fill out your registration form for this event on Saturday, December 17^th at the Liberty County Manna House. Located at 244 W. Memorial Drive they can be reached at 912.368.3660. The forms are available now through December 15^th! If you’re not in need but giving makes your holiday brighter then they are still taking donations of items such as: Barbie dolls, cars, trucks, puzzles, basketballs, footballs, etc.

5. LTOP Angels of Mercy: Food Distribution

This holiday season should be a time of gathering with family as you celebrate the Christmas season. If you are in need of food for your home, please visit the Angels of Mercy food pantry at 1272 Kelly Drive on December 17^th from 9am-12pm. This group is always willing to help those in need but please be generous as they are trying to help everyone they can during this time of year!
