Liberty County is filled with fun boutique shops that offer something for everyone. There are lots of upcoming holiday markets and events where you can find great gifts and décor from local shops and vendors. These markets and small shops offer a large variety of gift options, so it is easy to find something for everyone on your “nice” list.
Downtown Gives Back
This occasion is a great way to get ahead on your holiday shopping while also benefiting a local non-profit. If you shop at any of the shops listed below on November 16th, 5% of all proceeds will go to the United Way Backpack Buddies Program.

Homegrown & Handmade Holiday Market
The Hinesville Downtown Development Authority is hosting the Homegrown & Handmade Holiday Market on November 20th, 27th and December 18th from 10am to 2pm at Gap Park. This is another great spot to check out local artisans and find some unique handmade gifts.
Christmas in the Lake
Christmas in the Lake is happening at the Lake George Community Center on November 26th-27th from 10am-3pm. There will be plenty of vendors, homemade crafts and food. You can bring the kiddos along to get a special visit with Santa!
Christmas at Sunbury Festival Marketplace
Christmas at Sunbury will take place for a few weekends in a row: November 27th-28th, December 4th-5th and December 11th-12th from 11am-4pm. They will have food, music and vendors to explore. Enjoy a great time with a great view! There is a $5 admission fee.

Shop Small Saturday
Shop Small Saturday was created to encourage customers to shop at small businesses during the start of the holiday shopping season. Shop Small Saturday will occur on November 27th. We have some great local small businesses participating this year, and you should definitely check them out! Some shops will be offering a special promotion exclusively for Shop Small Saturday, so those you really won’t want to miss.
The Christmas Bazaar
The Dorchester Village Civic Center is hosting the Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, December 4th from 10am to 3pm. There will be local vendors with arts and crafts and decorations available for purchase that would make great gifts for your friends and family. You can even take your kids and get their picture with Santa!

Midway Museum Annual Christmas Tea
This would be a great “experience” gift to spend quality time with family or friends. On Saturday, December 11th, the beautiful Midway Museum will be decorated for a Colonial Christmas. You can go enjoy tea and refreshments, a guided tour of the museum with costumed guides to narrate the area’s rich history. This is truly a wonderful experience and is sure to put you in the Christmas spirit.
