Summer Camps in Liberty County
The school year is quickly wrapping up, and we know what yall are thinking: what am I going to do with the kids?! No worries, we’ve got yall covered! Take a look at these summer camps and you’re sure to find one (or two!) your kid will love. Check out our calendar to keep posted on everything going on in Liberty County!
Fort Morris Jr. Ranger Camp
June 6-10, 2017
9am-12pm
$30 per Ranger
Send the kiddos off to be park rangers for the week! This camp is open for kids ages 7-12 to learn about the history of Fort Morris and its role in the Revolutionary War. Campers will also participate in nature activities, craft projects, historical demonstrations and more! Call 912-884-5999 to register.
YMCA Camp
Monday-Friday All summer long
6am-6pm
$90/ week for members, $145/ week for non-members
$35 registration fee
Children ages 5 & up will love spending time at the Liberty County YMCA this summer! Campers will get to go swimming, play racquetball and basketball, walk through the park and do arts & crafts. In addition to daily activities, your kiddos will go on a weekly field trip! Breakfast and lunch provided after first week. Call 912- 368-9622 to register.
Summer Arts Camp
Monday- Friday All summer long
8:30am-4pm $70/week
7am-6pm $80/week
$20 registration fee
If you’re kiddo is more into dancing or singing they may want to try Inspirations Performance Studio’s Summer Arts Camp. Campers will also have the opportunity to learn about photography, musical theater, cooking and acting. This theatrical camp is complete with a performance at the end of each week for the parents! Midway Museum History Camp
June 13-16, 2017
9am-4pm
$35 per day, or $120 for all 4 days
Let your child become a historian at this museum day camp! They will learn local, state and national history over the course of the week by participating in historic games, demonstrations and craft projects. The Midway Museum will provide a bag lunch to every camper. Only 10 campers will be allowed so get your registration in ASAP! Email mrs_dover@hotmail.com to register.
Marshview Bible Camp
Junior (ages 8-12) June 18-23
Teen (13-18) June 25-30
$125 per camper
You kids will love to get away for a week at Marshview Bible Camp! They will enjoy playing games like kickball and ultimate Frisbee, as well as canoeing, Bible memory, Christian fellowship and craft projects. This one’s a sleep away camp so be sure to pack the flash light and sleeping bag for an experience your camper is sure to remember! Contact Brandon Hood at 912-655-2741 to register.
Liberty Co. Recreation Department Camps
The Liberty County Recreation Department holds summer camps all throughout the summer break. Your kiddo is sure to find a camp he or she will be interested in! From tennis to cheerleading there’s a sport for everyone to try!
