The Critical Role our Office Admin plays in the Chamber

Every office has that one person who keeps up with the calendar, meetings, and scheduling. Without that one person we like to call our “Administrator” we’d be organizationally challenged. Terri Willett, our Office Administrator is an intelligent, organized machine!

Terri is what I like to call an Army brat, meaning she isn’t really from anywhere specific as her father’s Army career has taken her and her family all over the world. I bet you didn’t know she has an identical twin sister named Tammy… Terri says the easiest way to distinguish the two is by looking at their hair as Tammy has always had long blonde hair and Terri’s hair is short and slightly darker. Moving so often, Terri developed a love of culture and community. She is well versed in Liberty County’s history, making her a valuable asset to the team as she is not afraid to give anyone a quick history lesson!

Terri first learned her love for the Chamber as a volunteer back in 2009. She volunteered for several years before taking the position of Office Administrator in August 2019. “I love my job, the one thing I enjoy most is getting to know Chamber members in the community, giving me a sense of purpose,” said Terri. In addition to keeping up with the calendar and membership communication, Terri also maintains our programs such as Leadership Liberty and Young Adult Liberty Leaders (YALL). These programs help to develop leaders in the community who can encourage community involvement and foster positive group dynamics.

We hope you have enjoyed getting to know Terri as much as we have here at the Chamber. If you have questions about our events or programs you can contact her at Assistant@libertycounty.org today!
