The winter months are relatively warm, especially for those who aren’t local! Some folks from other parts of the world may smile as us Southerners bundle up for breezy temps in the fifties, but we promise to us that is full blown winter!! You won’t find snow very often although it has happened once or twice.

Spring is an incredible time for a trip to Liberty County with flowers blooming, grass growing greener and temperatures in the 70s! It’s also a great opportunity to start seeing some of our feathered friends making their way back from the tropics.

Summer brings perfect boating weather with sunny skies and warmer temperatures reaching into the 80s and 90s. Be sure to wear sunscreen and keep a nice cool drink at hand just in case it gets a little too warm! Don’t be alarmed or cancel plans if you hear the rumbling of thunder – summer afternoon showers are a frequent event that pass over quickly.

Fall brings more than just football in our neck of the woods. Temperatures begin to drop as the days grow shorter which means longer nights around a bonfire with family and friends!
You’ll find that no matter what time of year you visit, you will have incredible weather perfect for getting out to #exploreliberty!
