8 Things to Know About Liberty County’s 6th Bi-Annual Food Truck Festival

Mark your calendar for our 6th Bi-Annual Food Truck Festival that will take place on Saturday, September 21st from 11am-4pm in downtown Hinesville! This event has grown in popularity since it first began with over 20,000 people at our last event! We thought this would be a good time to answer some frequently asked questions about it along with several reminders and rules. Stay in the know and prepare to have the best time possible! Keep scrolling to learn everything you need to know.

This is what you will want to know:

1) If you are looking for the event – head to Main Street and Bradwell Park in downtown Hinesville!

We recommend parking behind the Justice Center and/or Main Street shops! The following roads will be closed for the duration of the event – Main, Commerce and Midway Streets.

Insider Tip: A map will be posted in the Facebook event if you want more information on where to go!

2) Bring your own lawn chair, so you can get comfy & hang out with us all day long!

There will be live music from A Nickel Bag of Funk for all to enjoy on the stage in Bradwell Park! We may even have a couple of other surprises up our sleeve. Stay tuned!

3) The event is FREE!

Don’t let money stop you from coming out to enjoy live music and make new friends!

4) Have cash on hand for food truck vendors.

If you forget to grab cash beforehand, there are numerous ATMs within walking distance! Some of the vendors take cards, CashApp & Venmo, but it’s always best to have cash on hand. The beer garden does NOT accept credit cards. It is cash, CashApp & Venmo ONLY!

  • Insider Tip: The closest ATM is located at The First Bank.

5) There is a beer garden available for adults aged 21 or older.

You cannot bring outside coolers, but you can purchase a single cup of beer/wine or go bottomless for only $25! If you plan to drink, you MUST have a valid photo ID. We are a 100% ID check event. No ID? No service. We also serve one beverage per ID holder, so if you bring your sweetheart with you make sure they have an ID as well.

  • Insider Tip: If you buy a bottomless drink, it comes in a plastic cup that you’ll be able to take home as a souvenir!

6) Kid activities will be provided by UBOUNCE for a cost.

Bring your kiddos and let them play all day long in the bouncy houses! You pay a one-time fee for them to play as much as they want.

  • Insider Tip: Bounce houses do not have monitors, so you will want to make sure you watch your littles while they are playing.

7) There will be port-a-potties and hand washing stations located on Midway Street for your convenience!

This is the road that runs along the side of Southern Roots Boutique & Salon.

  • Insider Tip: There are also restrooms located in Bradwell Park across from the splash pad.

8) Come hungry. There will be lots of delicious options to choose from!

Additional Reminders & Rules:

    • No soliciting/passing things out
    • Dog-friendly – just bring a baggie and a leash!
    • It’s probably gonna be hot! Bring your sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, etc.
    • Please keep in mind that this is a family-friendly event!
    • There will be police officers on site to provide security.
    • Downtown will be open. Take this opportunity to visit all your favorite downtown businesses!

This is a great opportunity for families and friends to #ExploreLiberty in downtown Hinesville and enjoy quality time together. Have more questions about the event? Check it out on Facebook.
