1) Tazza Kabob Grillhouse

Located in Hinesville, you’ll find Tazza Kabob Grillhouse. Tazza cooks up Afghan-Persian fusion dishes with a number of unique and delicious options for you to try! The Middle Eastern cuisine has quickly become a local favorite since it opened! The restaurant is owned and operated by a father and son duo, Nick and Shaen Mehrzes. With encouragement from loved ones and a passion for making great food, Tazza Kabob Grillhouse came to life! Try a kabob plate, korma bowl, samosas or shawarma. We love the rice and beans, and we know that you’ll love it too. Don’t forget to grab a piece of the fresh baked naan bread!
2) Rodeo Mexican Restaurant

Who can say no to chips and salsa?! Oh, and don’t forget the cheese dip and guacamole! Get all of that and a little bit more at Rodeo Mexican Restaurant in Hinesville. Conveniently located right off of Highway 84, pop in for a delicious meal! The menu is huge and has all kinds of options ranging from favorites like fajitas and nachos all the way to traditional street tacos! The owner, Leo Escaleras prides himself on having a welcoming, family-friendly restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere for each and every person. Go see him and his crew at Rodeo Hinesville for some delicious food and maybe even a margarita or two!
3) Margie’s Southern Cooking

Craving some delicious soul food that tastes like your grandma made it? Margie’s Southern Cooking is the spot for you. Ms. Margie and her family cook up only the best for each person who comes to their counter. The daily specials will make your mouth water just looking at them! The dishes are cooked in and served out of a bright yellow food truck with red letters on the side. It’s parked on Shaw Road in Walthourville. You can’t miss it! Some of the local favorites are ox tails, candied yams, collard greens and corn bread. Not feeling that? Try out the pork chops with rice and gravy, lima beans and a piece of corn on the cob. Be sure to finish off your meal with a bowl of banana pudding. Can you say yum?!
4) Izola’s Eclectic Café

We’re sure you’ve seen them on TikTok – they’re kind of famous! Located in Hinesville off of E.G. Miles Pkwy, you can get a plate of Southern comfort food at Izola’s Eclectic Café! Their daily specials come with a meat and two sides, and it wouldn’t be right if you didn’t get a glass of sweet tea with it. The atmosphere is warm and inviting with smiling faces at the counter to guide you through the line of yumminess as the food is served cafeteria style! There is no denying that Izola’s is the place to be, especially since they have fans from all over the world that come to Liberty County for homemade southern cuisine!
5) Zum Rosenhof German Restaurant

Has your beer ever been served to you in a boot? Head over to Zum Rosenhof German Restaurant in downtown Hinesville, and that’s exactly what you’ll get! Grab a table or a barstool and immerse yourself in German culture and become a part of the Zum family. It’s is a destination filled with art, antiques, memorabilia and more that represent the German culture. The experience is topped off with the wait staff, as they’re dressed to impress in traditional German attire! We recommend that you try a plate of schnitzel with a side of potato salad or home fries, and finish your meal off with one of the German brews that they have on tap! If your stomach isn’t about to burst, we suggest you try a piece of their homemade cakes too.

Mr. Garrett and his wife take great pride in serving the best of the best to each and every customer that walks in their door. This family-owned business can be seen a little bit of everywhere in Hinesville since they offer some of the best catering around town!

Melody’s is located in Midway off of Hwy 17 and gives off that perfect coastal vibe. Choose from burgers, seafood, wings or their newest option, New Jersey style pizza! The eclectic menu and made from scr items are made possible by their partnership with local vendors. Kelli and Ron Lash are life partners and the owners of this cozy little spot. They guarantee premium quality and freshness on every plate of food that they serve, and they do not miss. Visit them during happy hour to try one of their unique daily or weekly specials. They even have a soft-serve ice cream machine. Grab some!

A local favorite spot that has risen to the top very quickly is the Walthourville Meat Market. You won’t find anywhere else that has top quality food and huge portions!
