The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce has close to 500 AMAZING members. From restaurateurs to retailers and everything in between. They add a great amount of value to Liberty County and the surrounding area. Each member brings something special to our chamber family and we want to take time to highlight our members by telling their business story. This week we are highlighting Play Datez! Child Development Center.

What is your Play Datez! Child Development Center?

Play Datez! Child Development Center offers top notch child care to all of their customers. Their staff is fully trained in first aid & CPR, child abuse prevention & developmentally appropriate practices. They offer full day and hourly care to the community with full licensing through Bright from the Start. Located in downtown Hinesville, Play Datez! wants to be your child’s favorite place to be! Play Datez! Child Development Center offers:

• Full Day Care

• Parents Night Out
• Saturday Play Day
• Birthday Parties
• Paint & Play

What’s an interesting fact about Play Datez! that most people don’t know?

Play Datez offers a few unique services in addition to general childcare.

• Hourly – Play Datez! will provide hourly care to patrons who need care, but not on a regular weekly schedule. Hourly care is limited to 20 hours per week. Parents/ Guardians must call ahead and reserve a space and go through a full orientation as well.
• Parent’s Night Out/ Parents Day Out – Each month, we will designate the days for our Parent’s Night Out. We will provide care (with designated age groups) after hours to allow parents a night out on the town. This program requires sign up with a minimum number of participants required.

Plans for the future…

Play Datez! is looking to start contracting outside services that will build on your child’s knowledge, skills and abilities in cognitive, physical and social/ emotional development. Programs to be offered will include:

• Kids Zumba
• Piano lessons
• Basic dance
• Cheer

About the owner…

Kamaria Boston is the Owner/ Operator of Play Datez! Child Development Center. She’s a veteran in Child Development & Youth Programs. Her passion for childcare was sparked when she began volunteering as a teenager at Ft. Campbell’s Child, Youth & School Services (CYSS). She graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Child Development & Family Studies and a minor in Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University. She then began her career working with children from birth to 5 years of age.

“I enjoy working with children and families because I get to witness the developmental growth of children, the positive communication between parents and staff, and the opportunity to meet the needs of families in the community that I live in. Children must be exposed to different ideas, languages, and atmospheres in order to be successful in today’s society. Our mission is to expose your children to life skills and cultures through play, developmentally appropriate practices, and repetition. I truly believe in community support when it comes to child development, and I look forward to the positive partnerships that will occur,” explained Boston.
