Young Adult Liberty Leaders Announces Incoming Class
The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that sixteen local high schoolers are now accepted for the 2022-2023 Young Adult Liberty Leaders (YALL) program.
- Bradwell Institute: Gabriel Alvarado, Emily Cullura, Keneché Roberts and Na’Ryah Robinson
- First Preparatory Christian Academy: McKenzie Bacot, Timothy Christensen, Maggie Horton and Austin Martin
- Liberty County High School: Miles Aikens, Jasmin Barella, Paul Brown, Abigail Burton, Madison Crowell, Ra’Shaad Daniels, Alearra Davis and Richard Hayes II
“We are so excited to welcome this year’s class and help them learn the skills and strategies needed to become future leaders in our community and beyond,” says Leah Poole, CEO of the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce and CVB.
Young Adult Liberty Leaders is entering its 15th year. Class participants take part in a rigorous 9-month class, meeting at least once per month and learning about various functions of the community, including County Government, City Government, Public Health, Public Education, Tourism, Economic Development and much more.
Established in 1976, the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce’s mission is to support new and existing business, trade and industry within Liberty County, while increasing the cultural, civic, educational and overall quality of life of its citizens. The Chamber and its’ 450+ members are committed to enhancing the local business climate and maintaining a high quality of life in the community.
