1) Eve Park at Halfmoon Marina
Take a breath and relax as the boats come in and out at Halfmoon Marina, located on Colonels Island. Eve Park is next door with amazing coast views. There’s even a park for the kids to play while you snap photos!
2) Fort Morris Historic Site
At Fort Morris you can experience nature, wildlife and a clear view of St. Catherines Sound all in one place! It’s unique because it is the only Revolutionary War historic site with original earthworks in Georgia.
3) Sunbury Boat Ramp
Enjoy the smell of saltwater in the air as you visit the Sunbury Boat Ramp. It offers a clear view of our waterways, making it the perfect place to capture sunrise and sunset shots. The dock is open to the public so we recommend bringing a rod and reel along.
4) Mural in Downtown Hinesville
Liberty County’s only mural can be found at 102 Commerce Street in downtown Hinesville! Located on the side of the Hinesville Area Arts Council Gallery, it features a multitude of colors, including an oak tree and a shrimp boat on the coast. It is sure to add an artsy and eclectic touch to all of your photos!
5) Jones Creek Park

You’ll have lots of opportunities to snap a photo or two at Cay Creek Wetlands Interpretive Center. Eight distinct ecosystems are showcased along the 7/10ths of a mile boardwalk, providing a wide array of greenery and beautiful views. At the end of the boardwalk, you’ll find a dock spacious enough to accommodate your entire family!
8) A Sandbar

This was an active holy place for over 100 years, so be sure to learn about its history while you’re there!
