We may be a little biased, but we believe that life on the Georgia coast is truly the best place to be. Yes it gets pretty hot, but the smell of saltwater in the air and feeling the breeze in your hair never gets old. Imagine stepping out onto your back porch each morning, afternoon and evening to see the most spectacular sunrise or sunset you’ve ever seen! That’s exactly what you’ll get in Liberty County. Our CEO lives out in Midway and never lacks for a beautiful south Georgia sunset. She tells us that they are best enjoyed on the back patio with a good book and a cold beer in hand. On the really hot days, grab a float and hang out in the water to cool off. You’ll get some much-needed vitamin D! Be sure not to forget your sunglasses and sunscreen. After you’ve enjoyed the day floating in the water, dry off and have dinner outside so you can watch the sunset. It’s hard to have a bad day when it ends in views like these!

Clay Sikes

Whether it’s early morning and the sun is rising or late afternoon when the sun begins to set, Clay Sikes’ view from Maxwelton on the far east end of Liberty County will definitely take your breath away. The views are often so beautiful they don’t even feel real! Imagine being able to walk out onto your back porch and soak up all of Mother Nature’s beauty each day. Wouldn’t that be nice!?

John Henderson

Another Liberty County native with the best backyard views is John Henderson! Out in Yellow Bluff with a continuous view of the coast – you’ll be consistently flattered by the beauty that lives outside your door. Luckily John almost always has his camera or phone in hand to capture these amazing views. Head out to Yellow Bluff to see these breathtaking views yourself. You may spot John out and about taking photos!

Amanda Stroup Jeffers

If you want to talk about a backyard view that will leave you in awe, that’s what you’ll find at Amanda’s house. No matter the season, the pictures painted over the marsh will never cease to amaze you. Keep scrolling to see one of the many gorgeous sunsets that she has captured.

Imagine sipping a cup of coffee or a cold cocktail on your back porch with a gorgeous view like the one pictured below. Jennifer has one of the spots that we have seen, and we would give anything to enjoy dinner with her every day! Wouldn’t you?!
