June is observed as National Country Cooking Month, celebrating recipes passed down from generation to generation.

Sho’ Nuff Smokin’ Good Barbecue

In 2017 Margie’s Southern Cooking was featured in Explore Georgia’s Food Truck Flavor Tour as a country cooking dining experience! This food truck is permanently parked on Shaw Road and is easy to spot with its bright yellow exterior! They cook all food to order and offer hefty portions ensuring their customers can eat to their heart’s desire. Try their candied yams, cornbread, black-eyed peas and more! Pick up a plate at 1696 Shaw Road, Hinesville.
Smokin’ Pig The BBQ Joint

As the weather continues to warm up people like to gather around a smoker or grill for a good old-fashioned cookout. Smokin’ Pig prides itself on its slow-cooked bar-b-que, and all the comfort food fixings. Dine in or order to go at their Midway location, 13711 E Oglethorpe Hwy. The Yellow Bee

When you hear “country cooking” normally lunch and dinner are what come to mind. The Yellow Bee is the only brunch spot in Liberty County and serves up various southern favorites! . While their new location is not open yet, you can still grab a plate from the food truck. Follow and keep up with them on Facebook to see where they’ll be parked.
Mr. Frank’s Table
Food made with love is what separates Southern cuisine from all others. Mr. Frank’s Table strives to embody that ideal with every plate served. Lima beans, baked macaroni & cheese and smothered pork chops are just a few items found on the menu. Their goal is to make food that tastes just like grandma’s used to. Visit their food truck at 192 Butler Ave in Midway, just past the IGA.
