The Liberty County Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) is happy to announce the appointment of Emma Faircloth as their Creative and Content Coordinator.

Faircloth will be responsible for promoting and bringing in tourism for the county, greeting visitors, answering group tour inquiries, assisting in the development of promotional brochures and products, representing the county at trade shows, building relationships with state tourism industry leaders and attending committee meetings related to tourism or special events. Her duties will also include writing press releases, maintaining the CVB website, posting content for the CVB’s social media and any other communication functions required by the CVB.

“We are so pleased to be able to offer this position to Emma, who has been with us since last August, to best utilize her skills and talents,” said CVB CEO Leah Poole.  “Her background, education and experience make her a great addition to our CVB team, and we are excited to see what Emma can accomplish for the community.”

Faircloth was previously a Program Coordinator for the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce. A native of Statesboro, Faircloth graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2021. She also has experience in the industry, as she worked part time at the GSU College of Education while studying for her Bachelor of Science in Public Relations.
