The Dock Attached to the Sunbury Crab Company
Located in Sunbury, you will find a delicious restaurant on the water. We consider this photo op a two-in-one; snap a photo of your fresh seafood for all your foodie friends and head down to the dock to get a picture of the coastal sunset! Cay Creek Wetlands Interpretive Center
Located in Midway Cay Creek Wetlands Interpretive Center is a boardwalk that is 0.7 miles long and is surrounded by eight different ecosystems. This lush area is filled with beautiful greenery and is home to many unique creatures. As you get down the boardwalk, stop and walk up the lookout tower and get that bird’s eye view photo of the Liberty County wetlands! The Mural in Downtown Hinesville
We currently only have one mural, and it sits on the walls of the Hinesville Area Arts Council. This beautiful artwork is a one-of-a-kind and a highlight of our community. While strolling around downtown, be sure to stop and snap a pic with it and tag us using #ExploreLiberty so we can repost your adventure!
Located in Midway, this history-packed location isn’t just extremely significant to the creation of Liberty County; it also holds so much beauty and nature within it. You can walk the grounds for free and take pictures of this historic site, but we also suggest taking a picture of the beautiful Liberty County coast. This incredible coastal location is a must-see while visiting Liberty County.

Liberty County Dirt Roads
Make your way off the beaten path onto a dirt road! Covered in tree canopies draped in Spanish moss, you can click here to learn about a couple of our favorites! This will create the perfect vibe for every picture you take. Adventure down Cay Creek Road, and you will see a canopy of trees laced with Spanish moss. Jump out of the car and strike a pose with the tree that curves and hangs over the road that we like to call “Waylon’s tree.” A local resident frequents this spot and takes many gorgeous photos; you can do that, too!
Located on Isle of Wight, this park is right on the water, perfect for those sunset photos. You can fish, kayak and let the kiddos play here, so snap photos while you enjoy the day.
