Located in Hinesville, it’s the perfect place to stroll! It has a one-mile walking trail surrounding various sporting fields, a pavilion, tennis courts and the Shuman Recreation Center. If you go for a walk here this spring, you’ll be in on all the action! Pack a lunch, grab the kids and enjoy a day in the sunshine!

Bryant Commons Park.
Located in the heart of Hinesville this park is a local favorite! With not one but two catch-and-release fishing ponds, Brambles Play Ground, Cisco’s Dog Park, the Veterans Memorial Walk and the Independent Telecommunications Pioneer Association & Telephone Museum (ITPA. It has something for everyone! This park is perfect for enjoying a sunny day while the kiddos play, and you sit back and relax or stroll around the pond. If you are looking for a place to take your furry friends and kiddos, this is the place to be!

Irene B. Thomas Park.
This park is conveniently located in Hinesville and is a hometown favorite for families. Go for a stroll around the half-mile loop! Don’t forget to bring your fishing gear to see if you can get a bite in the catch-and-release pond. Irene B. Thomas Park is also a great place to relax after a long day of travel, or a nice pit stop if you’re out driving around. Let the kids run around on the playground while you take in the scenery.

Catch a beautiful sunset on the water while going for an evening walk at Jones Creek Park. If you go at the right time, you might even see a dolphin or two while getting your steps in. If you love to kayak, we recommend this as a place to launch! We also suggest that you check the tides before heading out. Stop by Melodey’s Café while you’re out! We recommend the shrimp tacos!
Take a walk along our intracoastal waterways on the east end of Liberty County when you visit Eve Park. Indulge in amazing coastal views, relax under the pavilion and let the kiddos play on the playground! We are sure you will immediately fall in love with this cozy park. It is at Halfmoon Marina, so you can grab a quick snack and watch boats float by. Enjoy the views while the kids play, pack your picnic blanket and enjoy your day.

Bradwell Park.
Bradwell Park is a perfect stop for visiting downtown Hinesville! Have a picnic under the live oaks, cool off in the splash pad or bring your friends and family to enjoy one of the many events hosted in the park. You can even indulge in authentic German food at Zum Rosenhof or learn about local arts and culture at the Hinesville Area Arts Council. You can also stop by The Parrot and Frog! They have some delicious cocktails and a wide variety of beers!
