Small World Festival Reboot

Liberty County is rich in history & has become home for many people of various cultures. The City of Hinesville is proud to celebrate all the cultures & people that make up our community by bringing back the Small World Festival! This event highlights culture through food, performances & various activities for children. If you’re looking for the event – head to downtown Hinesville on March 4th! Check out our things to know list below for all the information you need to enjoy this event to the fullest.

Where to park?

There are tons of parking places in and around downtown Hinesville. We recommend parking behind the Justice Center and Main Street shops! The festivities will take place along Main Street and in Bradwell Park (Commerce/Midway Streets). Main Street, Commerce Street, Midway Street and MLK Jr Drive, will be closed for the duration of the event! If you need a map, check out the Facebook event for more information. If all else fails, just follow the sound of the music and the smell of good food!

Things to knowDancer at Small World Festival

  • You may bring your own lawn chair! Grab a comfy camping chair or whatever you like to sit on & prepare yourself for a day of hangin’ out with live music & food!
  • There will be performances by West Love & many more!
  • The event is FREE! Isn’t that everyone’s favorite part?!
  • If all you want to do is listen to music and sit and chat with your neighbor, there is no reason that you can’t come out and have fun with us.
  • You’ll want to have cash on hand for all of the food truck vendors.
  • Forget your cash? There are numerous ATMs within walking distance, the closest being The Heritage Bank!
  • There is a beer garden available for adults aged 21 or older! You cannot bring outside coolers, & you can only purchase beer/wine with a valid photo ID. Bottomless beer cups are $25!
  • We are a 100% ID check event. No ID? No service. We also serve one beverage per ID holder, so if you bring your sweetheart with you make sure they have an ID as well.
  • Kid activities will be provided by UBOUNCEfor a cost. There is an all-day price. You can let the kiddos can play all day long!
  • There will be lots of FREE internationally themed arts & crafts for the kiddos to do.
  • There will be port-a-potties and hand washing stations located on Midway Street for your convenience! This is the road that runs along the side of Southern Roots Salon.
  • Strollers & blankets are allowed.
  • There will be limited tables and chairs provided so you might want to bring a lawn chair from home.

  • Come hungry! There will be lots of delicious options to choose from!
  • No soliciting or passing out things this applies to selling items, handing out information about your business, political flyers, etc.
  • This event is dog friendly, so feel free to bring the pups out for an afternoon of fun – just bring a baggie and a leash!
  • Spring weather can be unpredictable, make sure you’re prepared. If it’s on the warm side, be sure to bring your sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, etc.
  • Please keep in mind that this is a family-friendly event; there will be lots of free activities for kids & live music for the adults!
  • There will be police officers on site to provide security & ensure everyone is safe while having a good time.
  • Downtown will be open. Take this opportunity to visit all of your favorite downtown businesses!
