Tell a Member’s Business Story: GeoVista Credit Union

The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce has close to 500 AMAZING members. From restaurateurs to retailers and everything in between. They add a great amount of value to Liberty County and the surrounding area. Each member brings something special to our chamber family, and we want to take time to highlight our members by telling their business story. This week we sat down with GeoVista.

GeoVista Credit Union, formally known as Fort Stewart Georgia Federal Credit Union, was founded in 1964 in Hinesville. Their original mission was to offer a welcoming and professional banking experience to military personnel and civil service employees at Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield. In 2007, their name was changed and they expanded to include all individuals and families within the Hinesville area. This includes community members within Bryan, Bulloch, Chatham, Effingham and Liberty Counties. According to their website, “If you live, work, worship or attend school in Bryan, Bulloch, Chatham, Effingham or Liberty counties, we’d love to extend an invitation to join our family! Joining is that simple and once you’re in, you’re a member for life!”
