This family-owned and operated jewelry store offers various selections for your shopping delight! You can expect receiving a warm smile and a helping hand while getting a piece repaired or having something designed custom for you. For over 21 years, Thomas Hill Jewelers has been a well-established jewelry store that has grown with our community from a small store to a multiple brand jewelry retailer.

What made you start your business?
“I have been in the jewelry business since 1976 and Chrisie has been in since 1981. We met in a catalog showroom store. I was the jewelry department manager and Chrisie worked in housewares. We have worked for several big box stores and independents. I was the jeweler for Friedman’s Jewelers and she worked for Levy Jewelers in Savannah when we decided to make it on our own.”
What’s an interesting fact about your business that most people don’t know?
“We are the only full-service family-owned jewelry store in Liberty and surrounding counties. We do repairs in-house. Our custom design service is a real experience for our clients; they love being in the design process. If we don’t have what you are looking for, we can get it or make it.”
Do you have any advice for new business owners?

“If you want to start a business, go for it. Do your research and be sure it is something you really love doing. Years from now you don’t want to look back and wonder what you could have done with your idea. Having your own business involves some stress and maybe some hard times, but when it all works there is nothing more satisfying than a business you started from scratch.”
What made Thomas Hill Jewelers join the Chamber?
“We joined the chamber to stay involved in the community. The chamber and its members have really supported us in the events we do. Every member treats you like a real friend.”
