A free event with fantastic food and fun activities? Yes, please! The annual Food Truck Festival is back in downtown Hinesville on Saturday, September 20, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

If you’re within driving distance of Liberty County, this is the perfect excuse for a little road trip. Every year, we welcome visitors from all over Georgia—and you’re invited!

Here’s everything you need to know to plan your visit.

What to Do at the Festival

1.Bring a chair and relax.

Pack your favorite lawn or camp chair and enjoy live music while you eat your way through the day.

2.  Catch live performances.

Get ready for great entertainment all day long.  There is nothing like good music, especially live!

3. Family fun? Yes!

UBOUNCE will be on site with kid-friendly activities for a one-time fee. Let the little ones play while you enjoy the good vibes.

4. Shop local!

Martin Mercantil

Take a break from the food trucks and pop into shops downtown. Stop by Martin Mercantile for handmade goods or grab a bite at Zum Rosenhof, a German restaurant and store offering specialty items.5. Make it a weekend getaway.

What You Need to Know

  1. Where is it?

Bradwell Park downtown Hinesville

It’s all happening in downtown Hinesville, right at Bradwell Park. Just follow the music and the smell of delicious food!

  1. Is there parking available?

Yes! We recommend parking behind the Justice Center or near the Main Street shops. The event takes place on Main Street and in Bradwell Park (Commerce and Midway streets).

Note that Main Street, Commerce Street, and MLK Jr. Drive will be closed during the event.

  1. What should I bring?

Lawn chairs, sunscreen, hats and sunglasses. It’s Georgia—it’s probably going to be hot!

  1. Is it really free?

Yes! You can enjoy live music, walk around and soak in the fun without spending a dime. Of course, food and kid activities have a cost, but attending the festival is entirely free.

  1. Should I bring cash?

Yes, most food trucks prefer cash. Forgot yours? Don’t worry—there are ATMs nearby.

  1. Is alcohol available?

Yes! There’s a beer garden for guests aged 21 and older. Please note:

  • No outside coolers are allowed
  • Alcohol is available for purchase with a valid photo ID
  • One drink per ID holder
  • No ID, no service

Pro Tip: You can buy a bottomless cup for just $25!

  1. Where are the restrooms?

Portable restrooms and handwashing stations will be available on Midway Street. Public restrooms are also available in Bradwell Park.

Additional Reminders and Rules

  • No soliciting or passing out materials
  • Dog friendly—bring a leash and clean-up bags
  • Keep it family-friendly
  • Police officers will provide on-site security
  • Downtown businesses will remain open throughout the event
