St. Catherines Island
Get all dressed up and prepare to say your vows as you breathe in the salt air and listen to the waves hit the shore. Our barrier island, St. Catherines, is the perfect spot for an intimate beach wedding! It is only accessible by boat, so you’ll need to book a charter! Ride out with Billigan Tours and learn the history of the island as you cruise along. If you’re really looking to make an entrance, book a sunset cruise with Slack Tide Tiki. They’ll drop you off and come back to pick you up!
Pro Tip: Make sure to stay on the shore of the island because visitors are only allowed into the interior if they’ve been invited.
On a dirt road

Take the path less traveled and do something bold! A dirt road isn’t a traditional venue for a wedding, so you’re sure to stand out. We’ve got no shortage of beautiful dirt roads around here, so pick your favorite one and make it a quiet spot for you and yours! The tree canopies create a whimsical vibe that will make every moment of your ceremony feel like living in a dream! Some of our favorite dirt roads are Old Sunbury and Cay Creek in Midway and Barrington Ferry Road in Riceboro.
Pro Tip: If you choose Barrington Ferry Road, keep an eye out for the tree spirits carved in the trunks. There are five total!

Bradwell Park
Create a modern vibe with a classic feel in downtown Hinesville’s newly renovated Bradwell Park. This area offers a blend of progress and history making it an ideal spot for a couple who is modern with a touch of eclectic! Once you make it down to the end, you will see all the boats floating in the water along with a little blue porch swing. The dock is never crowded and always quiet, so you can hear all the sounds while the salt breeze blows through your hair. It is definitely an intimate place to share one of the biggest moments of your life!
