Something for the Foodie Mama…
The Yellow Bee is the only brunch spot and mimosa cafe around Liberty County! Venture out and have a delicious mimosa, chicken and waffles or shrimp and grits. If brunch isn’t a thing in your house, don’t worry. Drive out to the coast and have dinner at the Sunbury Crab Company. This awesome restaurant serves up delicious seafood and cold drinks all while you relax and admire the beautiful view. Another one of our personal favorite spots is Melody’s Coastal Café. We’re sure that it will be a crowd-pleaser! Melody’s has a variety of menu choices, so it won’t be hard to find something y’all both like. Don’t forget to finish your delicious meal off with some yummy dessert! After all, it is the best part of a meal. Check out some of the best places to grab a sweet treat in Liberty County and cure your sweet tooth!
Something for the Creative Mama…
If your mama likes to tap into her creative side then we’ve got the perfect thing for her! We have a local art gallery, the Hinesville Area Arts Council where there is a different exhibit each month that features local art. If she also likes to learn about history and culture, we even have a few museums around Liberty County that she would enjoy! Check out a list of them here. You can also take mom to Liberty County’s first mural, located on East Court Street in downtown Hinesville and have a whole photoshoot with this giant stained glass-inspired painting.
Something for the Fashionista Mama…
Molly Maxine is the perfect spot for all of the trendy mamas. They have the trendiest clothing and jewelry, and they are also a Merle Norman retailer! If local handmade goods are your thing then be sure to stop by Martin Mercantile when you’re in downtown Hinesville. They have so many cool items for sale, including handmade clay earrings from The Robin’s Nest! If you’re interested in finding even more places to shop, check out a full list of our boutiques. You and your mama will love them. It’s the perfect opportunity for both of you to refresh your spring style!
Something for the Relax & Rejuvenate Mama…
A new hairdo can work wonders for a woman. Make an appointment with Sandi at the Salon at Charming Chics for some rest, relaxation and a new you! Follow your hair appointment up with a nail appointment at Stella Nail Lounge to get the full experience from head to toe! Hair and nails aren’t your thing? There are also a couple of spas that y’all can visit. Check out Baker Girls Beauty, Relaxation & Recovery Retreat or get a nice soak at Get Tanked! We have lots of options around Liberty County for y’all to get the care that you deserve.
Something for the Outdoorsy Mama…
For those who enjoy being outdoors and enjoying nature, we do not lack for either one around here. Some wonderful ways for y’all to enjoy the outdoors in Liberty County would be to go for a relaxing walk through nature at Cay Creek Wetlands Interpretive Center in Midway, the Historic Baptismal Trail in Riceboro or any of our local parks around the county! Parks are also perfect for a picnic, so grab your basket and a blanket and enjoy. There are many ways to embrace nature in Liberty County, and getting vitamin D is great for your mind, body and soul. When you have someone you love to tag along with you, it makes the experience that much better!
Something for the Adventurous Mama…
Is your mama an adventure and thrill-seeker? If so, we have the perfect thing for y’all to do! Drop a kayak, canoe or boat into the water and paddle out into the Intracoastal waterway. See what kind of wildlife that y’all can spot while you’re out there! We have a couple of public water access points including the Riceboro fishing pier, Jones Creek Park and the Sunbury Boat Ramp!
