Where: Gap Park in downtown Hinesville

Gap Park (located on Main Street) has been transformed into a certified holly jolly holiday spot for 35 Nights of Lights. This annual display will feature several decorated areas perfect for your family photo or the must-have selfie!

2) Santa’s MailboxChristmas Traditions in Liberty County

When: Monday, November 20th – Wednesday, December 13th

Where: The Bacon Fraser House, 208 E. Court Street in Hinesville

Each Christmas season the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce & CVB sets up Santa’s mailbox at the Bacon Fraser House. Kids from all around the county are always excited to line up and send their holiday wish lists to Santa! Bring your child no later than December 13 so that Santa and his helpers can send a response before Christmas Day!

Where: Bradwell Park in downtown Hinesville

Bring the whole family for a night of Christmas joy as the City of Hinesville presents Hinesville for the Holidays! Watch the holiday spirit come to life in downtown Hinesville with a tree lighting & other festivities. There will be something for everyone to enjoy, including photos with Santa, train rides, bounce houses, popcorn, hot cocoa, live music and LOTS of fun!

4) Liberty County’s 27th Annual Illuminated Christmas Parade

Where: downtown Hinesville

Bring the family for a wonderful night at the 27th Annual Illuminated Christmas Parade! This illuminated parade brings in over 15,000 people to downtown Hinesville for a night of fun, memories and Christmas cheer! Be sure to mark your calendars for this festive downtown event!

5) Christmas Bazaar and Fish Fry

When: Saturday, December 2nd | 10am-3pm

Where: Dorchester Village Civic Center

Each year the Dorchester Village Civic Center hosts their annual Christmas Bazaar and Fish Fry! Browse through unique gift items and crafts at the outdoor booths while you enjoy a delicious meal with family and friends.

6) Christmas at Sunbury

When: Saturday, November 25th & Saturday, December 2nd | 11am-4pm

Where: Sunbury Crab Co.

Our military men and women are a huge part of our community. Each year Wreaths for Warriors Walk honors and remembers those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice by placing a wreath on a tree representing a fallen hero who was part of the 3rd Infantry Division.

8) 57th Annual Christmas Tea Event

When: Saturday, December 16

Where: The Midway Museum

It’s time for another Colonial-style Christmas celebration at the Midway Museum. This exciting holiday event includes special teas, light refreshments, historical stories, Christmas decorations and a tour of the only colonial history museum in the state of Georgia!
