It’s time for you to break out the workout gear Hinesville – because Healthy Hinesville is bringing you a marathon workout like no other: Zumbathon!
Join Healthy Hinesville on Saturday, September 28 as we partner with the Liberty County Recreation Department and local Zumba instructors for a marathon 90-minute Zumba class at the Shuman Recreation Center. Beginning at 8:15 a.m., there will be an 80s – themed costume contest, so break out your best neon and leg warmers and join in for the fun! Prizes will be awarded to the best dressed dancers in 1st – 3rd place.
Beginning at 8:30 a.m., local instructors will lead you through 90 minutes of dancing fun with a Zumba workout like no other.
Zumba is a Latin-based dance exercise regimen that combines dance and cardio to a fun-filled workout!
This event is FREE and open to the public. Children ages 8 and older are welcome with parent participation. Participants are encouraged to bring water and gym towel to the event.
