Liberty County Food Truck Festival: FAQs for First-Time Visitors
Liberty County’s Food Truck Festival is returning to downtown Hinesville on Saturday, September 19th and we couldn’t be more excited! Where else can you enjoy live music, fun activities and the best food trucks around at the same event? The festival will be from 11am-4pm in downtown Hinesville. And–it’s free!
As we get ready for this huge event, we thought we’d answer some questions y’all might have and let you know what to expect. Here’s everything you need to know about the Food Truck Festival.
What You Need to Know
- Is it really free?
Yes! You can enjoy live music, walk around and soak in the fun without spending a dime. Of course, food and kid activities have a cost, but attending the festival is entirely free.
- Where is it?

- Is there parking available?
Yes! We recommend parking behind the Justice Center or near the Main Street shops. The event takes place on Main Street and in Bradwell Park (Commerce and Midway streets).
Note that Main Street, Commerce Street, and MLK Jr. Drive will be closed during the event.
- What should I bring?

5. Should I bring cash?
Yes, most food trucks prefer cash. Forgot yours? Don’t worry—there are ATMs nearby.
6. Is alcohol available?
Yes! There’s a beer garden for guests aged 21 and older. Please note:
- No outside coolers are allowed
- Alcohol is available for purchase with a valid photo ID
- One drink per ID holder
- No ID, no service
Pro Tip: You can buy a bottomless cup for just $25!
7. Where are the restrooms?
Portable restrooms and handwashing stations will be available on Midway Street. Public restrooms are also available in Bradwell Park.
What to Do at the Festival
- Bring a chair and relax.
Pack your favorite lawn or camp chair and enjoy live music while you eat your way through the day.
- Catch live performances.
Get ready for great entertainment all day long. There is nothing like good music, especially live!
- Come hungry.
