Stay Cool in Liberty County
Summer is right around the corner and the temperatures are starting to crank up. There is no better way to keep cool in the South Georgia heat than by going for a splash! Grab your bathing suits and sunscreen and check out some local spots to beat the summer heat.
Liberty County Recreation Department (LCRD)
The LCRD has two public pools, located in Hinesville and Midway. Both locations are open from May 25th through August 2nd, and it is only $3 per person! Season passes are available for those looking to cool off from the summer sun as much as possible! Individual passes can be purchased for $50, and family passes are $75 for up to 6 people. Both pools are also available for private rental. This is a great idea for summer parties and family gatherings! Visit the LCRD website for more information on passes and rentals. You can also call 912.876.5359 (Hinesville) or 912.884.3500 (Midway).
