1 Bradwell Park.

Bradwell Park is a lively downtown spot for family picnics under live oaks and cooling off in the popular splash pad. Enjoy community, sample authentic German fare at Zum Rosenhof, explore local art at the Hinesville Area Arts Council and unwind with craft beers and cocktails at The Parrot and Frog, all within steps of the park.

2 Eve Park.

Eve Park offers serene coastal views and a peaceful atmosphere on the east side of Liberty County. Sit under the pavilion, watch the water and let the children explore the playground. The park’s quiet charm and scenic setting make it a local favorite.

Grab a bite at Halfmoon Marina while you watch the boats drift by.  Its peaceful setting makes it a great place for families to enjoy a quiet outing while kids play at the nearby playground.

3 Bryant Commons Park.

Located in the heart of Hinesville, Bryant Commons Park is a family favorite. The Park features two ponds that are perfect for catch-and-release fishing. The kids can enjoy Bramble’s Playground, while Cisco’s Dog Park offers plenty of space for your furry friend to run and play. You can take a walk around Veterans Memorial Walk or learn about the history  of old telephones at the Telecommunications Pioneer Association & Telephone Museum. With space to relax, explore and play, Bryant Commons is the perfect spot to enjoy a sunny day with the whole family.

4 Irene B. Thomas Park.

Irene B. Thomas Park features a scenic half-mile walking trail looping through trees and open grassy areas. Bring your fishing pole and test your luck at the park’s peaceful pond—reel one in and let it go. After a long day of travel or when you need a break, unwind on one of the park benches overlooking the water. Kids can explore the well-maintained playground while you take in the surroundings.

5 James Brown Park.

Located in Hinesville, it’s the perfect place to stroll! It has a one-mile walking trail surrounding various sporting fields, a pavilion, tennis courts and the Shuman Recreation Center. If you go for a walk here this spring, you’ll be in on all the action! Pack a lunch, grab the kids and enjoy a day in the sunshine!

6 Jones Creek Park.

Catch a beautiful sunset on the water while going for an evening walk at Jones Creek Park. If you go at the right time, you might even see a dolphin or two while getting your steps in. If you love to kayak, we recommend this as a place to launch! We also recommend checking the tides before you head out. While you’re out, swing by Melodey’s Café—we highly suggest trying the shrimp tacos!
