Love wildlife? You’re in luck. Dolphins are regular visitors along Liberty County’s coast—keep your eyes on the water and you might catch them playing. Or, if you love birdwatching, Cay Creek Wetlands Interpretative Center is a must see!
This peaceful spot gives you a close-up look at tidal freshwater wetlands and is full of natural beauty. You’ll find bay, cypress, oak trees, palms, palmettos and even blooming magnolias. With over 100 bird species spotted here, it’s the perfect place to bring your binoculars and camera!
