Day One – Hinesville

The buffet at Izola's Country Cafe.Start your day off with an all you can eat breakfast buffet at Izola’s Country Café. Experience true Southern home cooking in a comfortable atmosphere. If you’d rather take your breakfast to go, breakfast in a cup is a must!

Enjoy shopping at the newly built Oglethorpe Square or head over to James A. Brown Park to take in some fresh air. For lunch Rodeo’s Mexican Restaurant is a great option for some fresh Mexican dishes that will give you fuel for the rest of the afternoon.

Head to downtown Hinesville for shopping at boutiques or check out the current exhibit up at the Hinesville Area Arts Council. Plan to stick around the downtown area for dinner as Zum Rosenhof German Restaurant is a must! Experience authentic German food, imported German beer in glass boots and a friendly staffed decked in traditional German costumes!

Day Two – Coastal Liberty County

Head across the street and visit with the Midway Museum to learn more about colonial Liberty County and to see some really cool artifacts!

Melody’s Coastal Cafe just down the street is just the right place for a midday meal with juicy burgers, tacos and even po’ boy sandwiches! After lunch head east and make your way to Fort Morris Historic Site for some breathtaking coastal views, history and some fresh air!

Stick around Sunbury and be sure to grab a table at the Sunbury Crab Company! A local favorite, you can enjoy freshly caught Georgia seafood such as blue crab or wild Georgia shrimp!
