Who are you & what is your business?

“My name is Cathy O’Hagan and I am the Retail Operations Specialist with VIP Office Furniture & Supply.”

How did VIP Office & Supply Start?

“VIP was established in 1975 as an answering service. Our owner, Dianne Horton, did her original deliveries on foot and/or out of the trunk of her vehicle. We now have a retail store, a customer service department, outside sales representatives, an onsite warehouse with 5 delivery vans making deliveries daily, three of which cover Savannah and the surrounding areas. We also have a second retail location in Garden City and a full time Bluffton, SC representative.”

What does VIP Office do?

“Our business has a vast variety of services that many people are not familiar with. We not only do office supplies and furniture, but we also provide many printing services to include but not limited to wide format printing and laminating. We can print up to 36″ wide and 10′ long. We can provide car magnets, yard signs, name badges, plaques and many more products. The list is endless. One of our customers favorite specialty products is our Mascot Chocolates.”

What made you join the chamber?

“We have been members of the Liberty County Chamber for many years. The knowledge and connections that the Chamber provides is priceless and helpful beyond measure. They are helpful with day-to-day questions about the community as well as events. The Chamber brings this community together on many occasions with well-organized and well publicized events throughout the year. They also have many events to meet and greet our fellow businesses. This is extremely important and helpful in growing a small community like ours.”

What advice do you have for new business owners?

“If you are a new business in Liberty County, I highly recommend you join the Chamber. They will provide you with a wealth of information on how to be successful, the community, and so much more. Attend Chamber events to get your name and face recognized. It is also helpful to visit other businesses to introduce yourself and your new business. At VIP we love to advertise for our fellow local businesses and send customers your way. Find what works for you and don’t spread yourself too thin. Enjoy your business and success.”

What do you love about Liberty County?

“I love Liberty County and the beauty it offers. I enjoy walking at the parks and my grandchildren love playing at the various parks. The oak trees in Liberty County are gorgeous and offer such peace. We have always enjoyed picnicking at Ft Morris. Cay Creek is a great place for younger as well as older people to enjoy and learn about nature. The Midway Museum and the Midway Cemetery are very interesting and there’s so much to learn about the histories of this area. There are so many attractions to visit.”
